As with any modern day love story, it all started with a www. Jeff had messaged Andrew via an online dating site and they clicked over one another’s tattoos. The conversation was easy and so they went on a date after many messages back and forth. That first date lasted over 24 hours and the second date was even longer. After a few months of casual dating they decided to give it a go; Andrew being Jeff’s first and only boyfriend at this point. Little did they know they would spend year after year making memory after memory.

Since the start of their relationship in 2010 they have built a life together like no other. They moved in together, eventually bought a house together, and have made some wonderful friends along the way. Traveling has become a key part of their lives since meeting. They have cruised to different islands, frozen their butts off in Iceland, traveled around the US from the Redwoods to Central Park and everywhere else in between. For many years they have been by one another’s side and for both of them they would not have it any other way.

In March of 2016, Jeff began his elaborate plan to propose to Andrew. For anyone wondering why it was so elaborate…well, Andrew had a few minor requests if he was ever to be proposed to that included: being in NYC at the Angel of Bethesda with friends and family to celebrate after a hidden photographer captures it all. Because of this, Jeff went to work for a couple months figuring out how to do this without tipping Andrew off. He shopped for the right ring with one of Andrew’s best friends and finally found it. He logistically flew family and friends up to New York City and planned to propose to Andrew in front of the Angel of Bethesda fountain in the heart of Central Park just like he always dreamed of. To say he met Andrew’s “minor” proposal requests was an understatement. For anyone that somehow never saw the video, check it out here.

Of course, Andrew said “HELL YES!” and the rest is now history. Jeff and Andrew live in Orlando, FL and love traveling the world. They have two sphynx cats since getting married in 2018 (check them out on Instagram!).

Since 2009, some of the places they have traveled together include Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Iceland, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, the Pacific Northwest, California (all over, but Jeff’s favorite is Napa/Sonoma), New Zealand + Fiji (for their honeymoon), the big island of Hawai’i, Spain, London + all over the UK, and Greece.

They are so excited to launch this travel blog as part of their upcoming trip that includes Dubai, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia/Bali, and Singapore!
